Hand-knotted carpets and rugs in pure wool and silk. Each piece is an original — no two rugs are ever made the same.
Hand-knotted craftsmanship
50,000 to 2,500,000 knots per rug, each one laid by hand on a wooden loom. It takes six to twelve months to complete a single rug.
Natural materials
Pure highland wool, bamboo silk and jute, on an undyed cotton warp. Colors from madder, indigo and walnut — they age beautifully rather than fading.
A lifetime
A hand-knotted rug lasts for generations and becomes more beautiful with time. It outlives the room you bought it for — and the next one, too.

50,000 to 2,500,000 knots per carpet
Each knot is tied by hand around the warp. The finer the knot, the sharper the design—and the longer the weaving takes. A finely knotted carpet keeps a weaver busy for six to twelve months.
